At least someone on here can see what I see ! Thank you for your input, I'm glad that you too were able to notice the slight graphical differences between the Complete Edition and 2008 versions of GTA IV. I decided to get this for my GTA collection. But whatever the case, I'm still sticking to my view that the Complete Edition of GTA IV looks slightly, and ONLY slightly better than the 2008 version.
maybe that has something to do with it, I don't know. When I first played the Complete Edition on my PS3, there was a notice telling me I need an to download an update on this version of GTA IV, which I did. The 2008 version of GTA IV had a lot of blurriness in the background, in the Complete Edition version it is still there, but not as strong and the graphics are slightly more polished.
Plus I did not say the graphics were a great deal better, I just said that there is a slight improvement. And the booklet is definitely a step backwards. The Complete Edition's version of the original GTA IV game does actually look a little bit better than the 2008 version of GTA IV, I can vouch for this. The map of Liberty City is the map from EFLC and doesn't show the clothing stores f.e. You have NO INFO on the radio stations or the cast in the booklet, the front cover just shows a picture of Niko Bellic at the Broker train station, the "fun fair" in the back, wearing sunglasses, a jeans from modo and the golden flight jacket from the russian shop. In TLAD you can load a file from TBOGT and vice versa but still, the regular LOADING SCREEN (ARTWORK OF TONY, GRACIE, MORI, etc.) comes up first. If you start or load a game in VANILLA and want to switch to TLAD or TBOGT you HAVE TO LEAVE/QUIT THE GAME, start the game again and select your episode. Now I can spit some knowledge since I visited a game stop today and traded in my EFLC and vanilla for the complete edition. Yes you can, press start and go over to game click load and pick which episode you want to load. I was wondering can you load a save file from a different episode without having to quit the game and select it?
